Pumpkin and Meat Balls =p~

Pan-fried meatballs are always the favorite food of children, they can eat them all the time, with spaghetti, hamburgers or even rice, while vegetables are definitely not. So how can we do to add vegetables in their check list? In one of my previous post, I presented a way to do it (click HERE to check it out), and today, I will show you one more way: Pumpkin and Meat Balls!

These Pumpkin and Meat balls are really easy to make, you and your kids will have fun mixing and making them xD The outside is really crunchy thanks to a coat of breadcrumbs, while the inside of each ball is tender, the softness of the minced pork and the sweetness of the pumpkin pieces combine perfectly and create a stunning, delicious flavor.

And here’s the recipe ^^

     Ingredients:

150 grams minced pork

300 grams pumpkin, skinless and cut into thin and long pieces

1 tbs fish sauce

1/2 tsp pepper

1 red shallot, finely chopped

1 clove garlic, finely chopped

2 tbs plain flour

100 grams breadcrumbs

Oil

     Method:

In a large bowl, mix together the minced pork, fish sauce, pepper, chopped garlic and shallot. Add the pumpkin pieces and plain flour, mix well until combined.

Take 1 tbs of the mixture, shape it into small balls, put them in the breadcrumbs, press until each ball is well coated by the crumbs.

Heat a large pan over medium high heat, pour oil into the pan, then place in the pumpkin and meat balls. Fry until the outside of each ball turns lightly brown.

Serve with mayonnaise or sweet chili sauce.

Thank you for reading this post, hope that I can help all of you a little bit in finding the inspiration to cook xoxo

Good luck 😉
