Lunar New Year Countdown: BREAD PUDDING <3

Simple, delicious Bread Pudding for the second day at home to celebrate Lunar New Year ^^ Actually today I woke up at 9am, had breakfast at 10 so I was too lazy and not hungry enough to cook an entire meal, that’s why I came up with this recipe (hey, someone is trying to be honest here!!!)

Anyway, this Bread Pudding is really good, even though I think that I’ll use more bread in the next time. My cousin and me even ate half of the pudding right after it’s out of the oven with fresh bread and cold milk. Yummmmm ❤

400 ml fresh milk (use a little amount of whipping cream if you want)

Some bread slices (6-8 slices), remove the edges and tear into small pieces

2 large eggs

2 large bananas

1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

80 grams granulated white sugar

Pinch of salt

1 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

1 tsp nutmeg

20 grams melted unsalted butter

15-20 grams raisins

1. Put half of the small pieces of bread in the cake pan. In a large mixing bowl, mix the remaining ingredients until well combined.

2. Pour half of the mixture onto the bread pieces, following by the round and thin banana slices. Continue putting the bread pieces on top of the bananas, then the milk mixture and the remaining banana slices. Carefully dip the bread in the milk mixture.

3. Preheat the oven at 175 degrees C, bake for about 40-50 mins, depending on the thickness of the pudding.

Have a nice day everyone xoxo
