In summer, I always love making dishes which are delicious, flavorful and simple to prepare at the same time. Staying in the kitchen for hours, sweating and losing the appetite is not a good idea at all, especially when physical activities and the high temperature took a lot of energy from you.
To solve that problem, until summer is over (honestly we don’t want it to end too soon, do we?) or at least the temperature goes down a little bit, in Trang Quynh Food Blog, I will try to give you as many ideas and recipes as I can to help you have fresh, healthy and of course yummy meals without losing too much energy and time in the kitchen ^^
Back to today’s dish, Flavorful Grilled Chicken, it’s actually modified from an old recipe for marinade which I also used for my Asian Pan-fried Pork. The method is basic: finely chop all the ingredients and mix them together or blend them until smooth. Make sure that you soak the chicken in the marinade long enough, depending on the size of the chicken pieces, for example, chicken drumsticks need to be soaked for at least 1 hour before grilling, and if you use the whole chicken, the time should be longer, between 2-3 hours, or even overnight. The flavor of the chicken depends on the soaking time, so prepare the marinade as soon as possible for the best result 😉
