Chicken Parmigiana


One simple and classic dish that I’m pretty sure each one of you already know or have your favorite recipe ^^ Today I’m gonna share with you the recipe for my Chicken Parmigiana, really rich in flavor with chunky tomato sauce, beautifully melted mozzarella cheese on top and crispy chicken cutlets 😉

Every element of this dish is really versatile: basic chunky tomato sauce, by adding some more ingredients, can be used in so many different dishes, pizza, pasta,… Coated chicken cutlets in breadcrumb mixture for Chicken Milanese, Chicken Schnitzel or thinly slice them and serve with egg noodles, bok choy and a sweet and sour sauce for an Asian-inspiring meal. The choice are endless and also, mixing and matching your food is fun !!

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cube (125g) mozzarella cheese
2 medium tomatoes
1/2 of an onion
4-6 tsps Italian seasoning
1/2 cup tomato puree
Fine breadcrumbs
Parmesan cheese
1 egg
Plain flour
Salt, pepper, oil
