Angel hair pasta with ribs cooked in tomato and red wine sauce :x

This is the second time I’ve made this dish. Last time, I used other kind of pasta and the pics’s quality wasn’t good, that’s why I decided to remake it and publish another post about this stunning classic Italian dish ^^ There’s no need to describe more about its deliciousness, which comes from the red wine and fresh tomatoes. I recommend that you should use angel hair pasta or any kind of pasta which has a thin shape, the sauce will go through and  contribute a deep, rich flavor.

Spaghetti Carbonara

Spaghetti carbonara 1

For my dear Jayden…..

Personally, I think spaghetti bolognese and spaghetti carbonara are the most common and the easiest recipes of pasta. Today, I’m gonna show you guys how to make a stunning delicious spaghetti carbonara dish. This is the first time I’ve made this dish at home, so hope all of you like my pics and my new post 😀

Ingredients: (serves:2)

1. 200 gr dried pasta2. 6-7 slices bacon, chopped3. 2 tbs olive oil

4. 2 egg yolks

5. 60-70 gr parmesan cheese

6. 60 ml whipping cream

7. 2 tbs parsley, chopped

8. Salt, pepper

Spaghetti carbonara 2

How to make it:

.        Step 1: Boiling the spaghetti

Prepare a pan of boiling water and season with salt. Place the pasta into the pan and push it down with your wooden spoon, so that all the spaghetti is submerged under the water. Add half of the oil and cook for roughly 7-10 minutes.

·         Step 2: Render the bacon

Meanwhile, into a warmed second pan add the olive oil, then the chopped bacon. Stir and let it render, stirring for a few minutes. To render simply means to melt the fat. Then turn the heat off.

·         Step 3: Combine the egg yolks, parmesan and cream

Place the egg yolks into a bowl, then the cream and the parmesan cheese. Combine it all together.

·         Step 4: Drain the pasta

When the pasta is cooked, transfer it into a colander, then place the colander back on top of the saucepan to drain the excess liquid.

·         Step 5: Cook the egg mixture

Once the pasta is thoroughly drained, quickly place it back into the pan of bacon fat and stir well to coat the pasta. Then pour in the egg mixture and mix thoroughly.

·        Step 6: Tip

It is very important to use the warmth of the pasta to cook the egg yolks. But do not overheat as you’ll end up with scrambled egg!

·         Step 7: Serve

After mixing thoroughly, season with salt and pepper and add the chopped parsley. Use the tongs to place a generous helping onto each serving plate.

My photography skills are still bad as usual, but luckily I got my lovely Canon :”( The colors are great, right? I’m gonna ask Nattie and Jayden for some skills later, but hope you guys will enjoy my dish like you did.

More important, I hope that I helped Jayden a little bit so he can make spaghetti carbonara perfectly, good luck to you, dear =x

Định up linh tinh nữa nhưng phải đi ngủ rồi, ngại ghê :”>
