Italian Meatball Sandwiches

IMG_7795

You couldn’t imagine how many times since I made these Italian Meatball Sandwiches, I wish I could have them for breakfast everyday. Yes, you may think I’m crazy because no one will ever need that much meat, and sandwich, and cheese to start a day, but just imagine in your head the awesome feeling of taking a bite, so flavorful, so warm and delicious of this sandwich before you have 5 hours of lecture waiting for you in the morning, now it sounds more convincing, right 😉

However, I have to admit that these babies will be better for lunch, you can prepare the meatballs the night before, then reheat them the next morning and stuff them in a hot and crunchy sandwich, add some slices of mozzarella and voila, lunch is all packed, and I’m pretty sure your friends (or your colleagues) will be jealous with you and your lunch box ^^

Banana Quick Bread

Banana quick bread 1

This is just a simple sweet treat I made to celebrate the huge occasion: MY OVEN IS BACK !!! People always say you will never go wrong with Banana Quick Bread, but I have to admit that this time, I went a little bit wrong. Here comes the story: my all-the-time advice for someone who starts learning to bake (I can’t use the term “baking starter” because actually, I’m a baking starter too ^^) is measuring exactly every ingredient  and don’t try to create or substitute something, just follow step by step the recipe and you’ll succeed. That’s what she said. Read More

Salon du Chocolat <3

Now let’s get the adventure begin, enjoy ^^:

We were too excited getting the ticket and ready to try everything !!!

Chicken Coconut Curry with French Baguette

Today is the day I’m tired of eating rice. The truth is even I’m an Asian girl, I love rice and everything belongs to it, I can’t eat it day after day without any rest. And for no-rice days like today, pasta and bread are always the best replacements. Time to travel to other countries and discover different cultures through their cuisine, how amazing is that!

Low-fat Banana Bread

Low-fat Banana Bread – a lovely quick bread which is perfect with your morning coffee or a bowl of salad for your light lunch – proves again the stunning combination between bananas and cinnamon in baked goods. What I love about this recipe is that it cuts down on the amount of saturated fat usually found in banana breads. Instead of using a quite big amount of butter (more than 100 grams), it replaces the butter with canola oil (vegetable or corn oil works too) and low-fat plain yogurt without sacrificing the flavor or texture.

Sweet Buns <3

After making the yummy Hokkaido Milk Bread (click HERE to see its recipe), I start loving bread. I really like mixing the dough, starting with the wet, sticky mixture of wet and dry ingredients and ending up with a smooth, elastic, non sticky dough ^^ Moreover, looking the dough double in size is extremely amazing, and again, when these small Sweet Buns are in the oven, they still grow and become sooooo wonderful and fluffy ❤
